West Bengal: Manoj Tiwari to join Trinamool Congress and he is likely to be a part of party chief Mamata Banerjee’s rally, in Hooghly district’s Chinsurah, on Wednesday, February 24th. 35-year-old Tiwary who is known as ‘Chota Dada’ has represented the Indian cricket team in the one-day international (ODI) and T20 formats.
Manoj Tiwary has played for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab, and Rising Pune Supergiants in the Indian Premier League. He has been the captain of the West Bengal cricket team and has also played for India in 12 ODI’s and three T20I’s
He recently took to Twitter and made a sarcastic remark on the fuel prices in India. Tiwary wrote: “Wat an innings by Petrol so far. A well-compiled century on dis difficult situation. U looked 4 a big one d moment u played ur first ball. Equally supported by Diesel. Great partnership by u 2. Wasn’t easy playing against d common people but u both did it. #PetrolDieselPriceHike”
